Is mental health important to you or to your family? Have you or a loved one struggled with your mental health? Are you looking for a meaningful way to support the work of our branch?
If you have answered 'yes' to any of the above, you may want to consider becoming a Champion for Mental Health.
In order to increase the number of donors making a longer term commitment to local mental health programming, we are introducing a campaign using the following prizes as incentive to become a monthly donor. For each donation of $10/month, participants will receive one entry to be drawn for the following prizes on October 1st, 2021. Donations of $20/month will receive 2 entries, etc, etc. Already donating monthly? You will be automatically entered into the draws.
Entry into a draw for a 3 Night Get Away (valued at $900) at Ravenwood Retreats’ Raven’s Nest Skoolie located in breathtaking Sayward, BC. The Skoolie is located in the pristine wilderness of the Sayward Valley. The property is 40 private acres, bordering the crystal clear waters of the Salmon River and features majestic old growth forest, grassy meadows, and many species of edible and culturally significant plants. Guests are graced with regular visits from a local herd of Roosevelt Elk and the annual salmon run draws in wildlife of all kinds.
The Raven's Nest was designed with an ecological ethic in mind, decorated with the work of local artists and vendors. The bedding is 100% organic luxury sheeting, generously sponsored by The Resthouse in Duncan, BC., and the kitchen cabinets were hand crafted by, Dayne Roland, in Port Hardy. The deck wood was purchased at a local mill, and most of the interior wood was milled and ethically harvested from Ravenwood. This is 'glamping' at its finest.
